Chris Coulter as noted has been performing on saxophones,

flute and voice in the tri-state area for over thirty years. He is a Connecticut state-certified music educator and after teaching in West Haven for 11 years, Chris is now currently teaching music in New Canaan Public Schools. Chris has also been director of the Trumbull Summer Band Camp jazz program. He adjudicates at state music festivals and has been a guest soloist and clinician at schools in the tri-state area.
Chris has his Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Bridgeport, and his Master of Science in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University. He has studied with Phil DeLibero, Gary Klein, the legendary teacher Joe Allard, and Grammy winning jazz artist Joe Lovano.
Chris has performed with such jazz greats as Clark Terry, Gerry Mulligan, Pepper Adams, Bob Brookmeyer, Slide Hampton, and Dave Weckl. He has recorded commercials, award winning children's videos, and also several CD's with local composer/pianist Rob Silvan. Chris currently performs with the Bales-Gitlin Band, The Rob Silvan Quintet, Steve D'Agostino, and his own group: The Chris Coulter Quartet.
